Humidity-/Sweat-Sensitive Electronic Skin with Antibacterial, Antioxidation, and Ultraviolet-Proof Functions Constructed by a Cross-Linked Network

Abstract: Most electronic skins (e-skins) show unique performance or possess sensory functions. The raw materials used for their preparation are potentially toxic or harmful, and there may be problems such as poor compatibility between the conductive fillers and polymers. In this paper, a silver-loaded nanocomposite film (PVA/CMS/vanillin/nanoAg) was prepared by the in situ reduction method in a greener route. The mechanical properties of this nanocomposite film had improved with a tensile strength of 30.95 MPa, an elon… Show more

“…During physical activity, such as exercise, complex physiological changes have been observed in the human body 18 . Current wearable devices only obtain physical or electrophysiological information, such as heart rate, exercise, intermittent blood pressure, arterial oxygen saturation, and electrocardiogram; however, advances in sensing modalities are expected to help obtain a detailed picture of the complex physiological changes that occur during exercise [19][20][21] . The continuous measurement of lactate levels during exercise can provide useful insights into physiological changes that are otherwise not possible to obtain based on physical or electrophysiological information 22 .…”

“…These derivatives have been used in fungicides, antioxidants, anti-hardeners, drug intermediates, etc. [18][19][20][21][22] Nevertheless, the intricate molecular structure and inherent degradation resistance of lignin still hinder its depolymerization toward high-value utilization, especially through electrocatalytic process. Therefore, to break the depolymerization barrier for lignin valorization, enhancing the contact and adsorption between the electrocatalyst and reactant is of great importance.…”
