“…Netnography as a methodology is multimethod and uses a host of different analytical techniques, including conventional observational and participative methods, semiotic analysis and thematic content analysis (Koznets, 2009). This study uses the grounded theory approach to thematic analysis to perform coding of the stories and comments using a six-step, top-down iterative approach suggested by Braun and Clarke (2006) and delineated by Yousaf and Xiucheng (2018) and Yousaf and Fan (2020).
