Human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stromal cells improve myocardial fibrosis and restore miRNA-133a expression in diabetic cardiomyopathy

Abstract: Background: Diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a serious health-threatening diabetic complication characterized by myocardial fibrosis and abnormal cardiac function.
