Human papillomavirus vaccines in Picardy, France: Coverage and correlation with socioeconomic factors

Abstract: Coverage and compliance rates of human papillomavirus vaccines in Picardy appear to be low. This study suggests that health authorities in Picardy should provide communication and action campaigns to improve these results.

“…For two of these studies ( 22 , 24 ), however, this association was only seen for those girls that belong to the catch-up group (17–18 and 14–16 years, respectively). On the contrary, three studies ( 17 , 20 , 31 ) found no evidence of association between HPVV initiation and socio-economic status.
