In a study concerning BD (n = 62) and actinic keratosis (n = 16), Mitsuishi et al [36]found HPV DNA in 65 and 77% of the lesions, respectively, and no significant difference was observed between the presence of HPV DNA and the immune status (but there were 66 immunocompetent patients and only 3 renal transplant patients).…”
