Abstract: The vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV) has shown effectiveness in preventing six different types of cancer. Despite a safe, effective HPV vaccine, vaccination coverage for adolescents remains suboptimal, especially in the Memphis, Tennessee metropolitan area.
