Human-machine Symbiosis: A Multivariate Perspective for Physically Coupled Human-machine Systems

Abstract: The notion of symbiosis has been increasingly mentioned in research on physically coupled humanmachine systems. Yet, a uniform specification on which aspects constitute human-machine symbiosis is missing.
