Some studies about the Danube River quality involved artificial Ðerdap Lake [43,[46][47][48][49]. The Canadian Water Quality Index (CWQI) is applied in various studies of lakes and artificial lakes (reservoirs): the Polyphytos artificial lake in Greece [50], Wadi El-Rayan lakes in Egypt [51], Qu' Appelle Valley lakes in Canada [52], Lake Kinneret in Israel [4], reservoirs and lakes in the Ebinur Lake Watershed in China [53], accumulation lakes on the Olt River and Danube River in Romania [54], Djerdap Lake on Danube River in Serbia [46,49], and the Palić and Ludaš Lakes in Serbia [55,56].…”
