Hull strength analysis for wind turbine units

Abstract: This paper presents hull strength analysis method for wind turbine units. First FEM model is created. Main deck, tween deck, inner bottom and bulkheads are created by shell and beam elements. The method for modelling the connection between legs and jacking systems is introduced in this paper.
