Hubungan Tingkat Risiko Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) Mengguna-kan Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) dengan Keluhan MSDs pada Residen Ilmu Bedah

Abstract: According to WHO, musculoskeletal disorders are categorized as the second rank of work-related disease. Various factors such as work, individual, and social factors can cause MSDs. These disorders play an important role in morbidity of workers such as healthcare workers. This study was aimed to analyze the correlation between the risk level of MSDs evaluated by using REBA and MSDs complaints among surgery residents. This was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. The instruments used … Show more

“…The exercise hours per week and the median REBA score for physiotherapists significantly correlate with musculoskeletal discomfort in the last 7 days. Physiotherapists with a higher REBA are more likely to have had musculoskeletal discomfort and pain in the previous 7 days, consistent with earlier research ( 48 ). Furthermore, physiotherapists who exercised for fewer than 4 h per week were more likely to experience musculoskeletal discomfort than those who exercised for more than 4 h. The gender, age, height, the weight of the physiotherapist and frequency of assistive device use had no significant effect on musculoskeletal discomfort in subjective study.…”

“…2 Berdasarkan data dari WHO Global Plan of Action on Workers' Health 2008-2017 tercatat bahwa keluhan muskuloskeletal berada diurutan kedua terbanyak penyakit akibat kerja setelah penyakit saluran pernapasan.

“…The physical risk factors for MSD disorders include a variety of biomechanical abnormalities as well as the working environment (Dohyung Kee et al 2020). Working posture, frequent motion, force, displacement from equilibrium positioning of the body, vibration, structure, inadequate illumination, and loudness are just a few of the most effective risk factors identified by prior research (Ade P. Tubagus et al 2018). Working posture and MSD concerns are inextricably linked.…”
