Two-thirds of hypertensive patients are spread in developing countries. In Indonesia, hypertension, nowadays, ranks second nationally and becomes a priority in non-communicable disease control. Pharmacist-patient communication is presumably related to therapy adherence of hypertensive patients. However, no research focuses on presenting this data. this article is aimed to present the readers with the correlation between the level of adherence to therapy of hypertensive patients and the communication behaviour of pharmaceutical personnel. We took the observations by recording the communication between pharmacists and hypertensive patients. We placed the research in two different Community Health Centers (Puskesmas), namely Puskesmas Muntilan 2 and Puskesmas Tempuran (Magelang Regency-Indonesia). The cross-sectional study in March 2020 collected data. The records were analysed using the Roter Interaction Analysis System (RIAS) instrument. Simultaneously, the medication adherence item was measured by the Medication Adherence Report Scale (MARS-5) instrument. The results showed that the pharmaceutical personnel providing drug information services to hypertensive patients have carried out two communication functions; task-focused (199 utterances) and socio-emotional (130 utterances). The hypertensive patients in this research had a relatively high mean adherence score of 24.1. The findings of the research demonstrated that task-focused communication was not related to overall items of therapy adherence. On the other hand, socio-emotional communication is closely related to the frequency of stop drug consumption for a while (0.265). The researchers underlined that the high frequency of socio-emotional communication was closely related to patient adherence to not stop drug consumption as being prescribed.

Turkish Ministry of Health estimated that 6.3% cases of COVID-19 fatality in April 2020 and 2.1% cases of COVID-19 mortality are associated with multi-factors. COVID-19 is very dangerous for moderate respiratory infection and has higher mortality compared to other diseases such as SARS-CoV-2. The study aims to compare case confirmation, mortality and compare incidence rate mortality between Indonesia and the world’s general situation. The study designs used a cross-sectional study with secondary data. The study population was people who have been diagnosed to covid-19 based on the website with URL: https://covid19.who.int/ and URL: https://covid19.kemkes.go.id/ for the period of March 2020 to November 2020. The Independent Variables are areas of disease i.e. Indonesia, Asia, and world area. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS. Data were analyzed with ANOVA. Average of confirmatory covid-19 is 1891.65±1468.412 in Indonesia, 41146.94±34159.12 in Asia, and 211914.42±128689.95 according to WHO. The average mortality was 62.29±37.69 in Indonesia, 635.36±453.68 in Asia, and 5279.71±1540.41 according to WHO. The incidence mortality rate was 0.046±0.0326 in Indonesia, averaged 0.023±0.0157 in Asia, and averaged 0.035±0.0231 according to WHO. There was a significant difference in confirmatory case between Indonesia, Asia and WHO with p<0.001, a significant difference in mortality between Indonesia, Asia and WHO with p<0.001, and significant difference in incidence mortality between Indonesia, Asia, and Indonesia with p<0.001. The study was concluded that there are significant differences in confirmatory case, death, and incident mortality between Indonesia, Asia and WHO. Confirmatory case and mortality were higher in WHO and Asia when compared to Indonesia, but incidence mortality was high in Indonesia when compared to WHO and Asia.

Indonesia merupakan negara yang menyumbang jumlah penderita TB tertinggi di dunia setelah India dan China. Prevalensi TB secara regional terhadap penemuan kasus baru TB di DIY sejak tahun 2017 hingga 2019 mengalami peningkatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran distribusi karakteristik penderita TB paru wilayah kerja puskesmas Kabupaten Sleman, D.I.Yogyakarta tahun 2021.Jenis penelitian deskriptif observsional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian yaitu penderita TB paru berusia ³ 15 tahun yang berada di 25 wilayah kerja puskesmas Kabupaten, Sleman, D.I.Yogyakarta pada periode Januari-Desember 2021.Hasil penelitian yaitu jumlah penderita TB paru di wilayah kerja puskesmas yang ada di Kabupaten Sleman, D.I.Yogyakarta tahun 2021 sebanyak 261 orang dengan karakteristik lebih banyak pada laki-laki (58,62%), usia 15-25 (24,14%), bekerja sebagai Non PNS/Swasta (32,18%), tipe TB dengan kategori kasus baru (81,23%), dan hasil pengobatan akhir dengan kategori sembuh sebanyak 127 orang (48,66%).
