The "3M Plus" mosquito nest eradication movement has proven highly effective in preventing dengue disease and promoting environmental hygiene and healthy living behaviors. This study aims to explore the relationship between household head behavior and the implementation of dengue fever mosquito nest eradication. Using a descriptive analytic approach with a cross-sectional study design and simple random sampling, the research involved 14 family heads as participants. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire and supplemented with observational data. Data processing encompassed editing, coding, and tabulating, followed by bivariate analysis (Chi-square test) and multivariate analysis (Binary Logistic Regression) at a 95% confidence interval. The results indicate a significant correlation between attitudes (p=0.000) and the role of community leaders (p=0.039) in the eradication of dengue mosquito nests. However, no relationship was observed between knowledge (p=0.767) and mosquito nest eradication. Attitude emerged as the dominant predictor (Exp (B) = 7.2) for its association with the implementation of eradication efforts. This research highlights the importance of positive attitudes and the role of community leaders in effectively eradicating dengue mosquito nests, ultimately contributing to the success of such efforts in Peukan District, Aceh Besar Regency.

Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus transmitted through the Aedes aegypti mosquito and is most commonly found in tropical regions. In contemporary society, there is significant emphasis on infectious diseases. DHF is a tropical disease that falls under the third indicator of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). DHF poses a significant global public health problem. Currently, its prevalence is spread across more than 100 countries worldwide. Over three decades, the severity of DHF has shown a significant increase across the Southeast Asian region. In 2021, Indonesia recorded a total of 73,518 DHF cases with 705 fatalities. In 2022, there were 143,266 reported cases resulting in 1,237 deaths. As of March 2023, there have been a total of 17,434 reported cases with 141 fatalities. These DHF case incidence figures indicate a considerable increase.Purpose: To reduce DHF cases in South Tangerang City by creating an innovative digital application which is called “Pakar” from an economic loss perspective.Method: This research adopts a mixed-method approach with exploratory research. The research begins with a qualitative phase to design the application, followed by a quantitative phase to assess the effectiveness of the developed application. The study commences with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving various stakeholders, including the South Tangerang City Health Office, public health centers, and community health workers. Subsequently, the application is developed and tested in selected pilot areas as an initial project. Further testing is conducted using a one-group pre-test post-test design. The experimental procedure includes a pre-test as an initial observation, followed by the intervention, and concludes with a post-test as a final observation.Results: During the pre-test, it was observed that DHF patients had a moderate level of knowledge, with a cumulative percentage of 46%. In contrast, the majority of respondents in the post-test had a high level of knowledge regarding DHF diagnosis, with a percentage of 76%. The paired t-test showed a t-value of -6.306 and the corresponding probability or significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.005).Conclusion: The expert system application, as an innovative approach for DHF mitigation and the experimental assessment of economic impact, is effective as indicated by the pre-post test. Furthermore, it is crucial to consider the economic impact of the costs incurred by DHF patients by placing greater emphasis on improving environmental cleanliness efforts.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease that rapidly spreads, particularly in tropical and subtropical regions. One of the places affected by DHF cases is North Minahasa Regency, which is one of the top donors to cases in North Sulawesi Province. The purpose of this study is to describe the prevalence of DHF in North Minahasa Regency between 2021 and 2022 in terms of time, place, and person. This is a quantitative descriptive study. This study employed secondary data. This data was collected from the North Minahasa Regency Health Office. Data will be collected from July to October 2023. The data collected were examined univariately. The data showed that the most DHF cases occurred in 2022, with an increase in incidence in March and November. Furthermore, DHF cases were prevalent in Dimembe District (working area of Tatelu Health Center), Kauditan District (working area of Kauditan Health Center), Talawaan District (working area of Talawaan Health Center), Airmadidi District (working area of Airmadidi Health Center), and Kalawat District (working area of Puskesmas Kolongan). The prevalence of DHF cases in 2021-2022 was higher in men, with a total of 150 cases and an average of 76 instances. DHF incidences increased in 2021, particularly in February, August, and December. It can be determined that the largest frequency of DHF in North Minahasa Regency in 2021-2022 occurs between February-March and November-December, were identified in Dimembe District, and the majority of the DHF cases are male
