HPLC determination of digital fingerprint and reliability of Zhusha Anshen Pills

Abstract: In this paper, we aimed to establish Zhusha Anshen Pills chromatogram fingerprint and evaluate it comprehensively with the of traditional Chinese medicine fingerprint evaluation system. The total information index TQ of chromatographic fingerprint was used to optimize the high‐performance liquid chromatography test conditions, and berberine was used as the reference peak to establish the high‐performance liquid chromatography digital fingerprint of Zhusha Anshen Pills. The latent information characteristics of… Show more

“…The TQ value is shown in eqn (9), where A i , t R i and N i represent the area, retention time and theoretical plates in each peak, respectively, 27 R i was the separation between each peak and the first peak, and N r was the theoretical tower plate number of the reference fingerprint peak. 28 The TQ value represented the signal size, signal homogenization and information content, and in general, the larger the TQ value, the better the optimization effect.…”

“…(7) ) was the objective optimization function in selecting experimental settings. TQ was a measure of the magnitude of the fingerprint signal, the degree of signal homogeneity, and the total information content [32] . A higher TQ value often denoted better chromatographic conditions.…”
