“…After overexpression of hlFITM3, compared with the overexpression of influenza virus infection, IL-1β expression is significantly reduced. This is consistent with the results that IL-1β plays a key role in the inflammatory response by activating immune cells and inducing many secondary proinflammatory cytokines [28,29]. The experimental results of this study indicate that overexpression of hlFITM3 and hABHDl6A can promote the expression of this cytokine, and the expression of this factor was not detected after cotransfection.…”

“…24 IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α are important inflammatory factors in the body, which are closely related to the occurrence and development of diseases. 9,25,26 As found in this study, the levels of IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α in hepatolithiasis patients were significantly up-regulated with the inflammatory state. Meanwhile, we observed significant upregulation of TLR4, MyD88, and NF-κB, suggesting that TLR4-MyD88-NF-κB signaling pathway was activated in hepatolithiasis patients.…”

“…Other phytochemicals, bumetanide [ 40 ], fenofibrate [ 41 ] and swietenine [ 42 ] are also reported to possess anti-inflammatory activity via downregulation of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Another study documented that methanolic extract Sideritis bilgeriana suppressed TNF-α, IL-1β and leukocyte migration in carrageenan-induced pleurisy model, which is due to the presence of f phenolic and flavonoids content [ 14 ]. It is persuaded that existence of these pharmacological compounds in AIRME could act as anti-inflammatory agents, and thereby suppress inflammation and edema in carrageenan-injected rats.…”

“…Methanolic extracts Sideritis bilgeriana reported to suppress tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and leukocyte migration in carrageenan-induced pleurisy model. These pharmacological effects are due to the presence of phenolic and flavonoids content detected by HPLC-DAD-UV analysis [ 14 ].…”
