How to improve users’ intentions to continued usage of shared bicycles: A mixed method approach

Abstract: Sharing the use of a bicycle in China has changed people's daily travel modes. Existing studies mainly explored the factors affecting individuals' initial intentions to start using a shared bicycle, but few looked at the likelihood that a user would continue using one. “…Recently, researchers proposed that perceived value, trust, perceived usefulness, service quality, user's habits, satisfaction and weather condition most vital factors positively prompting continuance usage intention towards PBS (Kim and Kim, 2020;Zhanyou et al, 2020) and advocate exploring other relevant enablers of continuance intention. Based on SET and SOR theory, this study examines the impact of relational benefits, satisfaction and engagement on continuance intention and the multiple mediating effects of user satisfaction and engagement between relational benefits and continuance intention.…”

“…A review of the extant literature is presented in this section about the factors and barriers affecting the continuous intention to use IoMT. Continuous intention to use as a construct signifies an important aspect of user behaviour and indicates the post-acceptance behaviour of a technology (Zhanyou et al, 2020).…”
