How higher‐order personal values affect the purchase of electricity storage—Evidence from the German photovoltaic market

Abstract: Why do consumers make different decisions even when socioeconomic conditions are similar? The present article examines the effects of human values-as formulations of motivational goals-on the decision to purchase electricity storage for a photovoltaic system, a phenomenon hardly explored in prior research regarding highpriced household investments. About 50 percent of photovoltaic-system owners in Germany are also owners of an electricity storage. This study aims to explore the more deeply rooted motivational … Show more

“…Along with people who exhibit a high degree of self-transcendence, they are situated in the region of values free from anxiety. 70 In addition to their own issues, they are also concerned about the environment. It is related to the ability to think alone and act independently.…”

“…The major intention of the demosaicing model is for interpolating missing blue, green, and red pixels from present pixels, thus the reconstructed image is similar to the actual image as probable. Furthermore, the computational complexity of demosaicing requirements should be less for cost effectual in real‐world applications 1,3,4 . Demosaicing model is naturally underspecified, since there are no total RGB triples in an image to study the image details.…”

“…However, the charging station uses the same mode of charging, including DCQC and AC level II. Since the different electric vehicle has various behaviors of charging as well as service of charging requirements, which is has restricted time of charging 11 . In addition, charging station has single mode of charging with minimal adaptability and high flexibility to fulfill the requirements of multi‐class users, and thus it restricted the Quality of Service (QoS) 12 .…”
