“…Although sexual harassment has been previously established to have negative consequences on educational attainment (Dunne et al, 2006;Edinyang, Effiom, & Unimtiang, 2020;Gruber & Fineran, 2008;Lei et al, 2020) we found it to be not statistically different from zero in our study. This research has explicitly shown that school leadership effects are mostly accrued through indirect ways, such as promoting teacher feelings, attitudes and dispositions as well as investing in school-wide processes such as climate, culture and structures (Bozkurt et al, 2021; Kwan, 2016; Özdemir and Yalçın, 2019). The current research aimed to add this evolving research avenue by bringing empirical evidence on how principal LCL might influence student achievement.…”

“…Information about socioeconomic status (e.g., family income) was not collected, which may relate to anxiety severity in college students. Significant relationships have been observed between socioeconomic status and testing anxiety, academic self-efficacy, and achievement (Akanbi, 2013; Bozkurt et al, 2021). All measures in this study were administered online.…”
