Abstract: Quasidiabatization of the molecular Hamiltonian is a standard approach to remove the singularity of nonadiabatic couplings at a conical intersection of adiabatic potential energy surfaces. Typically, the residual nonadiabatic couplings between quasidiabatic states are simply neglected.
