This study explored parents' strategies for home educating their children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) during the COVID-19 period in Harare Urban District in Zimbabwe. Embedded within international research findings on the subject, this qualitative study drew on a purposive sample of eight parents. Telephonic individual interviews, information sheets, and field notes were used to collect data. A constant comparative approach of data organization with continuous adjustment was used throughout the analysis in order to guarantee that codes captured the range of ideas of the parents. Parents committedly home educated children with ASD in collaboration and discourse with their family members and peer parents. Complementary and supplementary roles of parents and family members in the home education of their children with ASD facilitated the transition of these children from school to home routine activities. Parents of children with ASD fostered in these children an awareness of the new social reality of the COVID-19 period and the safety precautions. This study offers insights regarding parents' strategies for home educating their children with ASD during the COVID-19 period.

As the world enters a new normal period following the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) global outbreak, the propensity toward the exclusion of the vulnerable group of children with disabilities is a current issue that must be given attention. This issue paper describes the collective actions to usher children with disabilities in the new normal post-COVID-19 period in the Philippines. These actions focus on assistive technologies to augment information and communication, critical services to sustain medical and developmental needs, adaptive learning methods to continue education, and other social services to improve access and mobility. Set within a single national context, this issue paper provides a view as regards the shared initiatives to improve the conditions of children with disabilities in a developing country amid the pandemic.

Al-Qur'an is sustainable until the Day of Resurrection, as well as learning the Qur'an must be endeavored to sustainably be given to mankind regardless of the circumstances, including the Covid-19 pandemic situation. This paper aims to analyze the learning of the Qur'an in the Covid-19 era in Kutacane, Aceh Tenggara. The formulation of this study focuses on discussing how the learning method of the Qur'an in the Covid-19 era in Kutacane, Southeast Aceh, the objectives of learning the Koran are still prioritized in the Covid-19 era and the learning objectives of the Qur'an are given to anyone. . For this reason, data collection was carried out qualitatively by using the field study method. The results of this study indicate that (1) the method of learning al-Qur'an is carried out using the halaqah system and learning at the home of a teacher; (2) the purpose of this lesson is that the children will love the Qur'an since childhood and bring the Qur'an to life in the Covid-19 era; and (3) learning targets are given to primary age children in Darussalam Village, Kutacane Aceh Tenggara.
