Abstract: Objective. Assess proxy respondent effects on health care evaluations by Medicare beneficiaries. Data Source. 110,215 respondents from the nationally representative 2001 CAHPS® Medicare Fee‐for‐Service Survey. Study Design/Data Collection/Extraction Methods.
