How “critical” are the critical success factors (CSFs)?

Abstract: Purpose:The authors examine the literature on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to establish whether the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) for achieving stages of an ERP project have been empirically shown to be 'critical'.
