Aim/Purpose: The study aims to supplement existing knowledge of information systems by presenting empirical data on the factors influencing the intentions of doctoral students to learn through online platforms. Background: E-learning platforms have become popular among students and professionals over the past decade. However, the intentions of the doctoral students are not yet known. They are an important source of knowledge production in academics by way of teaching and research. Methodology: The researchers collected data from universities in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) using a survey method from doctoral students using a convenience sampling method. The model studied was the Technology Readiness and Acceptance Model (TRAM), an integration of the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Contribution: TRAM provides empirical evidence that it positively predicts behavioral intentions to learn from online platforms. Hence, the study validated the model among doctoral students from the perspective of a developing nation. Findings: The model variables predicted 49% of the variance in doctoral students’ intent. The TRAM model identified motivating constructs such as optimism and innovativeness as influencing TAM predictors. Finally, doctoral students have positive opinions about the usefulness and ease of use of online learning platforms. Recommendations for Practitioners: Academic leaders motivate scholars to use online platforms, and application developers to incorporate features that facilitate ease of use. Recommendation for Researchers: Researchers can explore the applicability of TRAM in other developing countries and examine the role of cultural and social factors in the intent to adopt online learning. Future Research: The influence of demographic variables on intentions can lead to additional insights.

The rapid increase in the vehicle population and the level of household and industrial activity as well as various community activities in the City of Banjarmasin that cause air pollution in the City of Banjarmasin. For this reason, this study aimed to evaluate the level of air pollution that is currently occurring in the city of Banjarmasin. This study measured the level of air pollution at three locations that are sampled for air quality testing, namely Antasari Central Market, Trisakti Port, and Pal 6 Terminal in Banjarmasin City. Measurement of air pollution used mobile laboratory equipment in collaboration with the Banjarmasin City Basic Health Laboratory. This survey measures the quality of Carbon Monoxide (CO), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), and Sulfur Dioxide (SO2). The results of the study found that at point 2 which is a location in the Antasari Central Market, Banjarmasin City, it exceeded the quality standard threshold of 3925/µg/Nm3 which has been set by Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia (PPRI) Number 41 of 1999 concerning Air Pollution Control. Which explains the quality standard of CO. Air quality (Carbon Monoxide) of 30.000/ g/Nm3. Meanwhile, measurements at Trisakti Port obtained a mild carbon monoxide air quality of 4.25/µg/Nm3. Parameters SO2 (Sulfur Monoxide), the results of field measurements get good results. This study concludes that the air quality in the City of Banjarmasin is good, this is due to the Covid-19 pandemic conditions reducing community activities to work outside except in terms of meeting daily needs.

The COVID-19 situation is a critical state throughout the world that most countries have been forced to implement partial to total lockdown to control the COVID-19 disease outbreak. And displays the natural power to rejuvenate herself without the interference of human beings. So, the top-level emergency response including full quarantine actions are significant measures against the COVID-19 and resulted in a notable reduction in PM 2.5 in the atmosphere. India was severely attacked by COVID-19, and as a result, the Government of India has imposed a nationwide lockdown from 24th March (2020) to 30th May (2020) in different phases. The COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown had a significant negative impact on India's socioeconomic structure but had a positive impact on environmental sustainability in terms of improved air quality due to the 68 days of the shutdown of India's industrial, commercial, construction, and transportation systems. The current study looked at the spatio-temporal changes in PM 2.5 concentrations at different air quality monitoring stations (AQMS) in Kolkata during the COVID-19 period. The study revealed that the average concentration of PM 2.5 (µg/m 3 ) was slightly high (139.82) in the pre-lockdown period which was rapidly reduced to 37.77 (72.99% reduction) during the lockdown period and it was further increased (137.11) in post-lockdown period. The study also shows that the average concentration of PM 2.5 was 66.83 in 2018, which slightly increased to 70.43 (5.39%) in 2019 and dramatically decreased to 37.77 (46.37%) in the year 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown. The study clearly shows that air quality improves during lockdown periods in Kolkata, but it is not a permanent solution rather than temporary. Therefore, it is necessary to make the proper policies and strategies by policymakers and government authorities, and environmental scientists to maintain such good air quality by controlling several measures of air pollutants.
