Purpose: The digitisation of economies and finance shows the importance of digital transformation (DT) in helping countries, markets and institutions to remain competitive. The changes brought about are not only technological in nature in certain market niches but affect the globality of a country’s institutions with environmental and social implications. For this reason, in recent years, DT has received increasing attention from researchers, and this study will show its evolution of DT and its components in the period 2012–2022.Design/methodology/approach: For this purpose, a literature review with bibliometric analysis is carried out, in order to evaluate DT and its components in emerging and developed economy countries. In the statistical work, the bibliometrix and biblioshiny software packages were used to perform data extraction and quantitative analysis of the research articles, obtained from the Web of Science databases.Findings/results: A total of 164 articles were selected for the research, which served to identify the most relevant publications on the case of DT in developing versus developed countries.Practical implications: Thus, this research is of great interest to academics and practitioners who can explore knowledge on DT in a global context and analyse the main trends and authors contributing to knowledge in this scientific field.Originality/value: The conclusions obtained refer both to the theoretical framework and to the implications for the management of both public administrations and international governmental organisations.

SMEs are essential in national economic growth, so it concerns various groups. Intangible resources such as knowledge and skills are the basis of SMEs' competitive advantage. Integrating these two things will provide a rapid growth acceleration for SMEs. Intellectual capital (CI) is a core concept of the company's strategic resources to create a competitive advantage. SMEs have a more straightforward organizational structure and solid internal social relations than large companies. This study aims to address this gap by analyzing the impact of intellectual capital (CI) on SMEs' financial performance (FP). The design of this research is causal research with a survey method. In taking the sample, non-probability sampling was used with the convenience sampling technique on SME owners along the coast of West Aceh. The hypothesis was tested using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The findings in this study prove that the three components of intellectual capital, namely human capital (HC), structural capital (SC), and relational capital (RC), affect the financial performance (FP) of SMEs. This study concludes that intellectual capital is significant for the financial performance of SMEs.

En la región Amazonas, provincia de Chachapoyas, se produce frutas nativas como el aguaymanto, tomate de árbol, maracuyá y guayaba, se vienen consumiendo en fresco, sin valor agregado. Se realizó el estudio para la producción y comercialización de néctar de frutales nativos; el estudio de mercado se realizó mediante encuesta directa, a 269 personas de una población de 264 289 personas entre 6 y 40 años de edad, de todos los niveles socioeconómicos, siendo este un 63.32% de toda la población de la región Amazonas. Se pretende producir 800 L/día, el producto que se ofrecerá es de 400 mL en envase de polietileno a S/. 1.00. La planta de procesamiento se localizará en Chachapoyas, la maquinaria a instalarse en la empresa tiene la capacidad de procesar néctar durante todo el año. El negocio se ejecutará a través de la empresa Productos Amazónicos S.R.L. La inversión total calculada para el proyecto fue de S/. 80,448.44 donde el 66% del monto equivale al capital propio y el 34% corresponde al préstamo a adquirir de una entidad crediticia, los indicadores de evaluación económica y financiera para ejecución del proyecto mostraron que es viable y rentable, siendo una alternativa para el desarrollo empresarial.
