“…The idea of improvement in lifestyle and achieving economic stability seem to be related to the new brick-made houses that prioritize anonymous modernity over context and transition. Pioneering researchers of this field such as Amos Rapoport, Paul Oliver and Rudofsky have laid the path of studying vernacular architecture as a socio-cultural phenomenon that led to the study of cultural landscapes/systems in which they are embedded (Rudofsky, 1964;Rapoport, 1969;Oliver, 2006).
