Hot deformation behaviour of Ti alloys: A review on physical simulation and deformation mechanisms

Abstract: Titanium and its alloys, owing to their properties like high strength, toughness, corrosion resistance and thermal stability, are employable in various engineering and medical applications. The properties of titanium alloys depend upon the processing routes and their final microstructure. Therefore, the present review paper compiles the deformation behaviour of various alloys during hot deformation using a physical simulation. Subsequently, the flow stresses are analysed and utilized to develop the processing … Show more

“…In excimer laser ablation, a high-intensity laser beam is used to remove material from a surface, with the potential for achieving high precision and uniformity. In femtosecond laser ablation, an ultra-short pulse laser is used, which can result in minimal thermal damage to the material, making it useful for precision machining and surface modification [28].…”

“…In accordance with the guidelines provided by ISO 50001, the procedures and instruments were categorized into three primary areas, and the particular results important to each category were then synthesized. In its concluding section, the article discusses problems and topics that still need to be addressed and offers proposals for new lines of inquiry [11][12][13][14][15][16].…”
