SRIVASTAVA and AWASTHI (1961) have briefly described the life cycle of this insect and have reported that in earlier stages of crop of Crotalaria juncea, the main host plant (PANDEY and CHATTORAJ, 1974), the caterpillars feed on foliage and in later stages they bore into pods and feed on seeds theirin. Recently in middle of September, 1974, the author has observed Caterpillars of this insect feeding on buds and flowers of Crotalaria juncea in the field.…”
