Host cell cAMP-Epac pathway inhibition by hawthorn extract as a potential treatment for Chagas disease

Abstract: Benznidazole (BNZ) and nifurtimox (NFX), drugs used in the treatment of Chagas disease (CD), are effective in acute and congenital cases.
