Hospital selection framework for remote MCD patients based on fuzzy q-rung orthopair environment

Abstract: This research proposes a novel mobile health-based hospital selection framework for remote patients with multi-chronic diseases based on wearable body medical sensors that use the Internet of Things. The proposed framework uses two powerful multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods, namely fuzzy-weighted zero-inconsistency and fuzzy decision by opinion score method for criteria weighting and hospital ranking. The development of both methods is based on a Q-rung orthopair fuzzy environment to address the un… Show more

“…The advantage of creating FFSs apart from q-ROFSs is that the q = 3 operation gives enough breadth to solve most decision problems. There are some recent studies in which IFSs [95,110], PFSs [111,112] and q-ROFSs [113,114] were used. On the other hand, FFS enables for more general uncertainty modeling than IFS and PFS because the sum of the IFS membership and non-membership degrees must equal one.…”

“…FWZIC is one MCDM method that needs to be used for weighting the five SSVEP-based BCI criteria. Figure 11 illustrates the steps of FWZIC through five essential processes that need to be applied for each set of five criteria [ 110 , 111 ]. The five steps are illustrated below.…”

“…The second group includes such methods as: AHP [37][38][39], ANP [40,41], DEMATEL [42], MAUT, REMBRANDT, MACBETH [43], SMART [44]. There are also many variants of multi-criteria methods (e.g., fuzzy), existing methods are integrated with each other and new methodological solutions appear, e.g., PVM [45,46], D-FTOPSIS [47], TROOIL [48], q-ROFDOSM-q-ROFWZIC [49], FAHP-TOPSIS, FAHP-VIKOR, FAHP-ELECTRE, FAHP-PROMTHEE [50].…”
