Hospital admission and care of COVID‐19 patients problem based on spherical hesitant fuzzy decision support system

Abstract: The emergency response to the health care management in the hospital do not have enough systems for providing medical service to the COVID19 patients (e.g., scheduled or nonemergency). Therefore, in this paper, we developed an emergency decision support model for consideration of patients care and admission scheduling (PCAS). The complex decision support model assigns a set of patients into a number of restricted resources like rooms, time slots, and beds depending on satisfying a number of predefined constrai… Show more

“…Kaabar et al Proposed a comprehensive urban community fire risk identification and assessment method, using a fire impact model to assess the risk factors affecting a given building fire [8]. Khan et al studied the dynamic risk management model in the fast time-varying system, and constructed the framework of the emergency risk measurement model and risk decision model [9]. Ivanets et al devised a simplified model for emergency risk management, and it is used to deal with the problem of too many treatment plans and risk sources in emergency risk analysis [10].…”

“…It is universally known that COVID-19 broke out at the end of 2019 and remains a threat to global health. As one of the most recent research hotspots, the application of MCDA to COVID-19 mainly involves the following aspects: healthcare waste management ( 51 , 58 ), prioritization of hospital admission of patients ( 59 ), the assessment of intervention and care ( 60 , 61 ), selection of isolation hospital location ( 62 ), and evaluation of a national healthcare system ( 63 ). These studies exert impact on both decision-making and management of COVID-19, and this impact will likely continue in the next few years.…”

“…Meanwhile, Ref. [ 53 ] develops an emergency MCDM decision-support model based on spherical hesitant fuzzy for patient care and admission scheduling (PCAS). Lastly, selection and admission research by [ 54 ] elaborates on how the pandemic has resulted in an intense flow of patients to hospitals, particularly intensive care units (ICUs).…”
