Hospital-Acquired Venous Thromboembolism in Children with Sickle Cell Disease

Abstract: Objectives: Sickle cell disease (SCD) is well recognized as a hypercoagulable state, however venous thromboembolism (VTE) risk factors in children remain largely unknown.
