Horizontal partial shareholding, dual purpose concern, and mixed duopoly competition

Abstract: This paper investigates the combined effect of horizontal partial shareholding and dual purpose concern on quantity competition. We identify the type of acquiring firm on production quantity, consumer surplus, and social welfare.
