Hopf bifurcations analysis for a mathematical model of a biomedical process

Abstract: In this paper we consider the model with time delay from [4], which describe tumor growth depending on vascular mass and regulation of new vessel formation through a key angiogenic factor. This model presents a Hopf bifurcation. Choosing the delay as a bifurcation parameter we determine the direction and stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions by applying the normal form theory and the center manifold theorem.
