Homozygosity for Achondroplasia? Report of a Possible Case, with Congenital Heart Disease and Severe Mental Deficit

Abstract: This report describes the child of two achondroplastic parents, who himself had achondroplasia, transposition of the great arteries, and marked mental retardation. The question is raised whether this represents the homozygous state of the gene for true achondroplasia.
