Abstract: Five homoleptic ruthenium(ii) chelates with the generic formula [Ru(S2C·NHC)3](PF6)2 were synthesized and fully characterized. Their redox properties were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. They displayed a remarkable stability in solution.
