Abstract:We analyze the time evolution of several physical observables, like the pressure anisotropy, the scalar condensate, the charge density, and also, for the first time, the non-equilibrium entropy for a Bjorken expanding strongly coupled N = 4 Supersymmetric Yang-Mills plasma charged under an Abelian U (1) subgroup of the global SU (4) R-symmetry. This represents a far-from-equilibrium, hot and dense strongly coupled quantum fluid with a critical point in its phase diagram. For some sets of initial data preservin… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
