Holocene variations in Lake Titicaca water level and their implications for sociopolitical developments in the central Andes

Abstract: Holocene climate in the high tropical Andes was characterized by both gradual and abrupt changes, which disrupted the hydrological cycle and impacted landscapes and societies.
