Hole Conduction in Non‐Stoichiometric Silver Chloride

Abstract: To rcmedy the lack of experimental data for holes in AgCl crystals, new measurements of the conductivity increase of zone-refined AgCl crystals in C1, atmospheres were undertaken in the range 50 t o 300 "C. The hole mobility was derived from a kinetic study of the conductivity change after admission/removal of the chlorine gas, taking into account the diffusion potential.
