“…(Figure 1G, 2G). Some cases (4, 6, 8, 9, 10) contained clusters of eosinophils and neutrophils, further mimicking cHL. The neoplastic cells in all cases were strongly positive for CD30, CD15 (9/10, 90%) (Figure 1E, 1F), and negative for B-cell markers such as PAX5 and CD20, by immunohistochemical stains.…”

“…There are rare reports of classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) arising in patients with either MF or CD30-TLPD (2-4, 21). However, a true association has been debated, and in some instances the cHL has been said to be of T-cell derivation (9). The differential diagnosis between cHL and nodal involvement by cutaneous CD30-positive T-cell lymphoma (TCL) with Hodgkin-like cells can be challenging, and will influence the selection of therapy to be employed.…”

“…W nielicznych przypadkach komórki nowotworowe ziarnicy zło-śliwej mogą pochodzić z komórek T. Według Kadin i wsp. ten typ nowotworu częściej może współistnieć z chłoniakami T-komórkowymi skóry [10], natomiast Davis i wsp. [11] opisali przypadek pacjenta z lymphomatoid papulosis, u którego na przestrzeni lat rozwinął się chłoniak Hodgkina, a następnie C-ALCL.…”

“…Theoretically, two bands should be observable in PARR-SSCP of a monoclonal lymphoid tumor sample because each double-strand DNA molecule separates into 2 single strands [5]. However, in some reports, several bands have been observed in PARR-SSCP in addition to the target bands, although the cause of this is unknown [3,6,8,10]. Although we could not elucidate the reason for this, our results show that SSCP analysis helps in determination of PARR clonality in samples showing an obscure band in conventional PARR.…”
