Abstract:Eosinophilic pleural effusion can be the first presenting feature of a wide range of diseases, with malignancy being the commonest cause. Elevated levels of eosinophils could be an indicator of a favourable prognosis. In clinical practice, malignant lymphomas have been rarely associated with eosinophilic pleural effusions.
