Hjorth Parameter based Seizure Diagnosis using Cluster Analysis

Abstract: The health-related issues have been increased with a wide range in few years. Hence the need for effective and advanced health care systems or aids isexpanding. New methodologies and instruments must be developed to aid the doctors inintelligent health caring of patients. Biomedical signals are a rich source of information, and it is not easy to understand by the normal human beings. To provide ease, extraction and analysis of biomedical signals can help get the correct information to everyone. The signals gen… Show more

“…The activity and mobility features of e2 showed significant differences. The computation of activity for one breath is proved to distinguish between asthmatic and nonasthmatic conditions in the stated report (Arjaria et al, 2021). Mobility is reported to be used in identifying transitional errors in electroencephalogram (EEG) signal evaluations.…”

“…It should be noted that applying inappropriate statistical methods, namely, logistic regression in correlated observations, will lead to the incorrect estimation of p ‐values 52 or invalid inferences regarding measures of effect such as odds ratios and risk ratios 53 To the best of our knowledge, there has been only one study that applied a cluster analysis to diagnose seizures using EEG data 54 but none has used this method for analyzing extracerebral biosignals. …”
