Historical aspects of development of physical and rehabilitation medicine in France

Abstract: Анотація. У статті коротко розглянуто історію становлення та розвитку фізичної та реабілітаційної медицини / ФРМ у Франції. Виявлено, що найбільш інтенсивний розвиток галузі в країні припадає на період після Другої світової війни, коли створюються спеціалізовані реабілітаційні центри, приймають відповідні закони, які, з однієї сторони, регламентують діяльність відповідних фахівців, з іншої-є спрямованими на соціальний захист, реінтеграцію чи перекваліфікацію неповносправних людей. Article 15 of decree 50-134 of January 30, 1950, requires each French medical facility to provide functional rehabilitation services, or if it is not possible to send its patients to another rehabilitation center, public or private, with which the relevant agreement has been signed [1].…”
