Historical and modern aspects of vascular andrology

Abstract: Vascular andrology, or angioandrology, was formed on the principle of an interdisciplinary approach in medicine. The object of study were pelvic varicose veins, arteriovenous conflicts, chronic pelvic pain syndrome, erectile dysfunction, prostatic hyperplasia and lower urinary tract symptoms. New approaches developed within this scientific and clinical direction have significantly improved the results of treatment of urological and andrological patients.
