Disseminated gamma‐delta T‐cell lymphoma in a dromedary camel

“…While lymphoma has rarely been reported in dromedary camels, affected animals presented with disseminated disease involving multiple visceral organs, including the liver, spleen, kidney, lung and abdominal and thoracic lymph nodes, like our case. 5,6 To the best of our knowledge, conjunctival involvement as well as a γδ T-cell phenotype have not been reported in dromedary camels. Conjunctival lymphomas may be a manifestation of disseminated lymphoma or represent as primary local disease.…”

Neoplastic nodules were composed of sheet of small to large-sized lymphocytes that obscured the normal architecture of the affected organs and were occasionally admixed with tingible body macrophages.…”
