Hippocampal adaptation to high altitude: a neuroanatomic profile of hippocampal subfields in Tibetans and acclimatized Han Chinese residents

Abstract: The hippocampus is highly plastic and vulnerable to hypoxia. However, it is unknown whether and how it adapts to chronic hypobaric hypoxia in humans.
