Hip Fracture As A Potential Contributor To Cognitive Decline And Dementia

Abstract: This paper reviews the possible link between hip fracture and cognitive decline and dementia. There is a growing body of clinical research literature that indicates that cognitive decline is associated with the presence of delirium and that delirium is a predictor of dementia.
