Abstract:The paper presents the power supply based on the LTD-generator concept for active elements on metal halide vapors excitation. The main source feature is the modular structure which allow to increase output voltage and change storage capacity due to the number of modules. Each module is designed to minimize parasitic parameters and provide high voltage and current slew rates to the GDT.
