High versus low ligation of inferior mesenteric artery during laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer

Abstract: Laparoscopic radical resection is standard treatment for resectable rectal cancer. However, whether high or low inferior mesenteric artery (IMA) ligation should be performed remains controversial.
