High Variability in Nosocomial Clostridium difficile Infection Rates Across Hospitals After Colorectal Resection

Abstract: Colorectal surgery patients appear to be at high risk for C. difficile infection, and alarming variation in nosocomial C. difficile infection rates currently exists among hospitals after colorectal resection.
