Abstract: ObjectiveB cells play a central role in Sjögren's syndrome (SS) whereby autoreactive B-cells populate ectopic germinal centres (GC) in SS salivary glands (SG) and undergo somatic hypermutation (SHM) and class-switch recombination of the immunoglobulin genes.
