“…30,37 There have some reports about the some special catalytic reaction in the microdroplet reaction, like Suzuki reaction and Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction. 38,39 However, for these results to have practical value, the microdroplet reactions need to be scaled up in practice to improve the reaction yield. Some factors, like size, with or without high voltage, solvent, and lasting reaction time of the microdroplet will have a direct effect on the high yields.…”

“…Spectroscopic techniques can be faster but often lack the resolving power needed to study a diverse collection of molecules. High-throughput mass spectrometry provides excellent mass-to-charge ratio separation of individual products (17)(18)(19)(20), and MALDI-MS has been intensively optimized in recent years for rapid and robust molecule-specific MS imaging of biological tissue slices. The new generation of MALDI-time-of-flight (TOF) instruments equipped with a 10-kHz scanning beam laser, substantially faster X,Y stage, and faster plate loading-unloading cycle substantially improves sample throughput to hundreds of thousands of measurements per day.…”

“…High-throughput experimentation (HTE) techniques hold the potential to revolutionize modern catalysis and reaction discovery by enabling the exploration of a myriad reaction conditions in a time and resource-efficient manner (1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6). In recent years, efforts have been directed towards the development of mass spectrometry-based (MS) HTE systems for the automated processing of Pd-based cross-coupling reactions on nanomole scale, in both batch and continuous flow settings (7)(8)(9)(10). Researchers at Pfizer have developed a modular, automated system to enable nanomole scale reaction discovery in flow at a throughput of over 1500 samples/day (0.02 samples/s) (9).…”
